Hello. A bit about who I am...

Simply human:
I live on the Treasure Coast of Florida with my soulmate & 4 kids. I love my Heavenly Father for without him, I am nothing. I am a huge Steelers fan. I love photography. My favorite color changes a lot...right now it's pink. I can cook a mean Kung Pao chicken. I have learned much in my 34 years here on earth. I wear my heart on my sleeves. I am in love with love and life.

Simply an artist:
As you can probably tell, I'm not your typical photographer. My vision of portraits is more artistic and journalistic in style. I like to use color and texture to add to the "mood" of an image. It's my style. It's who I am.

Simply your photographer:
Dedicated to the art of love and life, I am your photographer. Fifty years from now, all you will have of your life is your loved ones and your memories. Allow me to help make those memories beautiful.

Pop It!

I’ll be sharing some new things in the next few weeks and thought I’d start with this goodie!

I am now introducing POP IT! Sessions to my session line-up. *pause* A what? A POP IT! Session! Stay with me here. ;) You are a man who is madly in love with his girlfriend. You know that she is THE one and are getting ready to make the biggest decision of your life…you are going to ask her to be your WIFE! You make all the plans, buy the ring and the day arrives. You pop the question and she says YES…but wait…it went by so quickly that as you try to remember a year later how it went, your mind draws a slight blank.

Ahem…here is where I step in. I will work with you as you plan how to pop the question and will be there to secretly capture each minute of each moment as they happen so when your grandchildren ask you someday how you ask their grandma to marry you, you will not only be able to tell them but you can show them!

My POP IT! Session will be $200 until February 15th when it goes up to it’s regular price of $250. Price includes DVD of images of your special moment. Please email me with any questions and stay tuned for other goodies coming!

I leave you with a recent image of my baby girl:

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” ~John 3:16

As Christmas arrives, let us remember the reason for this season. I pray each of you has a wonderful holiday season and that your new year is full of wonderful memories. God Bless you all.

Much love,

Elizabeth and family

I will be taking the next month off to spend time with my family, catch up on life and get my business ready for the new year. I will be adding new products to my boutique and revamping my pricing. For current clients, no worries…I will continue to work on your orders/images and get it out to you! ;)

Email me if you have any questions or would like a 2009 Price List.

Patrick & Megan | Orlando Wedding Photography

It feels good to be back in the saddle again and shooting weddings. Almost a year ago, I had the pleasure of shooting the engagement session for Patrick and Megan. Saturday, I photographed their wedding. I had a great time with Megan and Patrick as well as their family and friends.

Megan, you are a sweetheart and one heck of a dancer! I know I said it a few times on Saturday, but that dress was MADE for you! Patrick, you are a gentleman. Wishing you many years of happiness and have a fantastic cruise!!

tidbits

A little bit more of who I am…

I was born in Saigon, Vietnam to a Vietnamese mom and an American Dad (war brat).  We moved to Iran where my father was a contractor for the US Government and it was there that my brother was born.  After living in Iran for a year, we hopped over to the States, moving to and fro…by the time I was 16 I had lived in 16 different places in 7 different states.  In 1988, we moved to Orlando, FL where I resided until I married after about a year of college.  In 1994, I had my first child, a daughter.

A year later, I was divorced and headed back to Florida from North Carolina.  I went back to school and worked to support my daughter.  In 2000, I met my best friend, soul mate and husband, Bill.  We were married after knowing each other for only 3 months.  It was one of those things that you just know is right.  We had our son in 2002 and another son in 2005.  It was in the beginning of 2007 that I began my photography business.  I came to love taking photos of children and families but then was pulled into the world of weddings and fell in love.

In October, we were shocked to find out we were pregnant again and in May of this year, I delivered our daughter.  Also in May, we relocated from the Orlando area to here in Port St Lucie, FL where I am now in the process of starting business over from scratch.  A demanding but fun challenge to say the least.

That’s my life in a nutshell.  How about some other facts about me?
-I’m a black belt in karate.
-My favorite cookie is THE Oreo.
-I love shooting newborns and engagement sessions.
-My favorite flower is the tulip.
-I used to have a nose ring.
-I used to dread getting a mini-van, but now that I have one, I couldn’t imagine life without it. We still have a cool car for when it’s just me and the hubs.
-I love So You Think You Can Dance…if I could go back in time keeping the same kids and husband I have now…I’d be a dancer as well as a photographer. This Vietnamese gal has rhythm I tell ya!
